From a Firefighting Family to Founding Stationwise
Marcus grew up in a firefighting family. His father, grandfather, and extended family all served, and the firehouse was a big part of his childhood. Stationwise is his take on the family business. Instead of picking up a hose, he chose to build tools that support the people who do. That personal connection is what drives him to make a lasting impact in the fire service.
Driven to Build Tools That Truly Help
Before starting Stationwise, Marcus worked as a consultant at Bain & Company, advising Fortune 500 companies on strategy and operations. He saw how data could lead to real results when used well, and he wanted to bring that same power to the public sector. Marcus holds a BS in Bioengineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and an MBA from Stanford Graduate School of Business. He’s passionate about building technology that actually helps people and making sure those on the front lines have what they need to succeed.
