Murat is the Chief Technology Officer at Stationwise, where he leads the engineering team and makes sure the platform is always running smoothly, even under pressure. He brings over ten years of experience working on critical systems that power real-time mapping, routing, and dispatch.
Before joining Stationwise, Murat spent five years at Lyft, where he led a team of more than 50 engineers. He was responsible for improving the company’s core navigation and dispatch infrastructure, which supported millions of rides every day. His team built and maintained some of Lyft’s most mission-critical systems, where even a few seconds of downtime could disrupt thousands of trips.
A Founder at Heart, Building Tools First Responders Can Rely On
Murat is also a three-time founder. He created Realit, an augmented reality SDK that was later acquired by Lyft and integrated into its mapping stack. He also built Gurrme, a mobile app designed for restaurant ordering and discovery. He holds a BS in Computer Engineering from Middle East Technical University. Murat is passionate about building reliable, high-performance systems and believes that tools for first responders should be as dependable and user-friendly as the best consumer apps. At Stationwise, that belief guides everything he builds.
